Call for Research Study Proposals for the
GNSH 30-minute Team Engagement Campaign

Greetings Friends of GNSH: The Board of Directors is excited to announce $5,000 in grant funding to support another research study that will investigate the use and associated outcomes of the GNSH 30-minute team engagement campaign in academic or clinical settings. GNSH invites proposals from faculty, researchers, doctoral students or healthcare leaders, interesting in exploring how teamwork, communication, and collaboration remain a focus when students or healthcare employees aim to improve patient safety outcomes. GNSH, in collaboration with several other organizations, is soliciting proposals which will assess and measure the efficacy of the 30-minute team engagement campaign in raising awareness and understanding of patient safety competencies with students or among healthcare employees working in interprofessional teams.  This grant funding would not be possible without the financial support of several organizations and friends, who are also committed to exploring the effectiveness of these interventions in higher education and clinical settings. The GNSH Board of Directors shares our gratitude for these partners including Laerdal, INACSL, NLN, and other supporters. The Call for Proposals can be found here.    Proposals must be submitted by July 15, 2022 at 5:00PM EST. Questions about the call for proposals or this initiative can be directed towards Pamela Jeffries, Secretary of the GNSH Board of Directors, at pamela.jeffries@vanderbilt.edu. The recipient of this funding will be announced at the upcoming GNSH Summer Summit in Lisbon, Portugal. GNSH Board of Directors
